Completing the IEP: Summary page
Each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) is comprised of many sections. The Summary page appears on all IEPs for all students.
The Summary page is auto-populated with information that was entered in other sections of the IEP, such as the Recommended Special Ed Programs and Services section. In addition, there are some areas of the Summary page that may be edited:
Tip
- If information that was entered in another section of the IEP is not reflected on the Summary page, click More Actions on the Actions bar and then choose Regenerate This Section.
Note: This must be done in View mode.
To complete the Summary page of the IEP
- Locate the student's profile.
How?
- From the Actions bar, click Documents.
A list of all documents for the student appears.
- Click Individualized Education Program (IEP).
The IEP document appears.
Note: If the IEP document does not appear on the list, create a new IEP document.
- From the Actions bar, click the Select drop-down ().
- From the pop-up menu, click Summary Page.
The IEP Summary page appears.
- Complete the following:
- Defer to CBST checkbox, if applicable
- Has the program changed from prior IEP checkbox
- Parent Concerns field
- Other Programs Considered section
- Review all other sections of the Summary page to verify that all information is accurate.
Note: If a change is required to a section that is not editable, return to the appropriate section of the IEP and make the update.
- Click the Save, Done Editing button.
