Completing the IEP: Cover Page section

Each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) is comprised of many sections. The Cover Page section appears on all IEPs for all students.

This section guides the case manager through a series of questions to assist him or her with determining the child's disability.

To complete the IEP in SESIS: Cover Page section

  1. Locate the student's profile.
    How?

  2. From the Actions bar, click Documents.

    A list of all documents for the student appears.

  3. Click Individualized Education Program (IEP).

    The IEP document appears.

    Note: If the IEP document does not appear on the list, create a new IEP document.

  4. From the Actions bar, click the Select drop-down ().

  5. From the pop-up menu, click Cover Page.

    The Cover Page section of the IEP appears.

  6. Next to the Date of IEP field, click the calendar () icon and choose the date the IEP is created.

    Note: The date should match the date of the IEP meeting.

  7. Indicate whether the student meets the criteria for one or more of the disability classifications.

  8. Complete all remaining fields.

    Note: The remaining fields are dynamic based on the answers to each question.

  9. Click the Save, Done Editing button.
