Sending the Notice of No New Testing Needed letter

When a reevaluation or a mandated three-year reevaluation is conducted, the case manager determines if new testing is required to complete the reevaluation. When no new testing is needed, the Notice of No New Testing Needed letter is sent to the parent or guardian.

To send the Notice of No New Testing Needed letter

  1. Locate the student's profile.
    How?

  2. Click the Documents () icon.

    A list of all documents appears.

  3. Click the Assessment Planning link.

    The Assessment Planning document appears.

  4. From the Actions bar, click the Select () drop-down icon.

  5. From the pop-up menu, click Notice of No New Testing Needed.

    The Notice of No New Testing appears.

  6. Click the calendar () icon next to the Date field to choose the appropriate date.

  7. Click the Save, Done Editing button.

  8. Finalize the document.
    How?

  9. From the Actions bar, click Send/Print Letter.

  10. Click the OK button to record sending the letter as an event.

    The event log appears.

    Note: The send/print date is automatically recorded and the Description field is auto-populated. No other fields are required.

  11. Note: If the letter will not be mailed today or if a second copy is being printed and the event log does not need to be updated, click the Cancel button.

  12. Click the Accept/Print button.

    The Print dialog box appears.

  13. Choose the appropriate printer and click the Print button.

    The letter prints.

  14. Click the link to return to the previous screen.

  15. Finalize the Assessment Planning document.

  16. Send the Notice of IEP Meeting.
    How?

  17. Create a new Individualized Education Program (IEP) for the student.
