Sending the Additional Request for Reevaluation letter

When an additional request for reevaluation is created, a letter must be sent to the parents or guardians notifying them of the request.

Note: The letter must be sent to the parents or guardians regardless of whether the request has been approved.

To send the Additional Request for Reevaluation letter

  1. Locate the student's profile.
    How?

  2. From the Actions bar, click Documents.

    A list of all documents for the student appears.

  3. Click Additional Request for Reevaluation.

  4. From the Actions bar, click Send/Print letter.

  5. Click the OK button to record sending the letter as an event.

    The event log appears.

    Note: The send/print date is automatically recorded and the Description field is auto-populated. No other fields are required.

    Note: If the letter will not be mailed today or if a second copy of the letter is being printed and the event log does not need to be updated, click the Cancel button.

  6. Click the Accept/Print button.

    The document prints.

  7. Click the Back to previous screen link.

  8. If additional testing is required, send the Consent for Additional Assessments letter.
