Submitting an IESP

An Individualized Education Services Plan (IESP) is a plan created for a non-public school student who is eligible for special education services. The IESP is equivalent to an Individualized Education Program (IEP), which is created for public school students.

If the student already has an IESP and is attending a non-public school, is it not necessary to create an IEP.

To submit an IESP

  1. Locate the student's profile.
    How?

  2. From the Actions bar, click Documents.

A list of all documents for the student appears.

  3. From the Create a New Document drop-down menu, choose Individualized Educational Service Plan (IESP).

  4. Click the Go button, then click the Create button.

    The IESP document appears.

  5. Click the link to access the IESP form.

    The File Download box appears.

  6. Click the Open button.

The document opens in Microsoft Word.

  7. Complete the form and save it to your local folder.

  8. Create a fax coversheet.
    How?

  9. Fax the completed IESP form and the coversheet to SESIS.

  10. Finalize the IESP document.

  11. Enter the information from the IESP into CAP manually. (Although the information from the IESP will transfer into SESIS, it will not transfer into CAP.)
