Declassifying a student from special education

The Individualized Education Program (IEP) team may determine that a student who is currently receiving special education and/or related services, no longer requires the services identified in his or her IEP. These students must be declassified in SESIS before services may stop.

Note: If the student has been initially referred and is found ineligible before receiving services, the student must instead be found ineligible in SESIS.
