All Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) must be reviewed at least once
every year. For an annual review, you will create a new IEP document.
Process overview: Annual review
- Create, finalize, and send the Notice of IEP meeting to the parent or
guardian.
- Create the IEP document.
- Print the IEP meeting attendance page.
- Conduct the IEP meeting and have each participant sign the Attendance
Page.
- Print the Attendance Page fax coversheet and fax the coversheet along
with the signed Attendance Page.
- At the IEP meeting, determine if additional testing is needed.
- Select from below.

- When new testing is needed, the evaluation process must be
followed.
- Create the Request for Reevaluation

No new testing is needed |
- Develop the IEP based on decisions made during the IEP
meeting.
- Finalize the IEP document.
- Send a copy of the finalized IEP to the parent or guardian
- Place the student using CAP/SEC.
Note: Once the IEP is finalized, data will be
reflected in CAP within 24-48 hours.
