Creating progress reports for Measurable Annual Goals (workaround)
The progress a student is making towards the goals identified in his or her Individualized Education Program (IEP) must be reported to parents and guardians periodically throughout the year. The frequency of these reports was identified on the Reporting Progress to Parents section when the IEP was developed and is reflected on the Measurable Annuals Goals section of the finalized IEP document.
In some cases, individuals finalize the IEP without indicating the number of times progress reports will be provided. In other cases, the frequency of progress reports was indicated in the IEP, but when the individual accesses the Measurable Annual Goals section of the finalized IEP, the progress report information is not available.
When the progress report information is not available on the Measurable Annual Goals section of the IEP, the IEP team must manually complete the progress reports and fax it into SESIS.
