Adding a SESIS user to the Table of Organization in Galaxy

All SESIS users must appear in Galaxy for each location where they need access to student information. If a principal or department head wishes to assign SESIS access to an individual that is not listed on his or her Table of Organization (TO) in Galaxy, he or she must first add the individual to the People Not on Budget section.

Individuals may be added to the People Not on Budget section for the following reasons:

To add a SESIS user to the Table of Organization in Galaxy

  1. In Galaxy, click the New Item link at the top of the Table of Organization.

  2. From the pop-up menu, click Create New Item.

    The Academy/Section Navigation page appears.

  3. Click the Main School link, then click People Not on Budget.

    The People Not on Budget info page appears.

  4. Complete all fields for the individual.

    Important: You must use the individual's real Social Security number (SSN). A fake SSN will result in system problems that may affect this user as well as other users.

  5. Click the Save button.

    A confirmation pop-up appears.

  6. Click the OK button.

    The newly added individual may not be able to access SESIS until a SESIS role is assigned in Galaxy.

  7. Assign a SESIS role for this individual.
