SESIS role assigner

A SESIS user's role defines what privileges he or she has while working in SESIS, such as the ability to edit or finalize a document. This role is created and maintained in Galaxy, based on the individual's job title. In addition to the individual's current job title, a SESIS user can also be assigned to other roles, for the purpose of affording SESIS permissions.

For each New York City Department of Education (DOE) location that uses SESIS, one individual is appointed as the SESIS role assigner. The SESIS role assigner can add and change SESIS roles for each user at his or her location. Each user can have multiple SESIS roles. Privileges are granted based on the least restrictive role.
