The process stage identifies a student's current stage in the special education process. The student's process stage appears on the Special Education Summary section of his or her profile in SESIS. There are five possible process stages in SESIS:
The process stage is automatically updated to the next stage when a SESIS user creates and finalizes specific documents in SESIS. If work is performed out of sequence in SESIS, such as creating evaluation documents before finalizing referral documents, the Process Stage may not correctly reflect the student's current stage in the process.
