Recording parent or guardian agreement to an earlier Social History meeting date

When a request for an initial referral for special education services is approved, or when an initial referral has been initiated by the parent, guardian, principal or other authorized individual, the Social History meeting must be scheduled. The meeting may not be scheduled fewer than seven business days from the date the notice is sent unless the parent or guardian agrees to an earlier date.

If the parent or guardian agrees to an earlier meeting date, it must be recorded as an event in SESIS before the notice is created.
