Building a caseload group in SESIS

When a New York City Department of Education (DOE) staff member, contracted agency provider, or independent service provider has been notified that he or she is responsible for delivering special education services to public school students, the student must be added to the providers caseload in SESIS. The provider can then create caseload groups to organize his or her caseloads. If providers are unable to remove students from their caseload, he or she can create groups to separate former from current students.

To manually build a caseload group in SESIS

  1. In the My Student Caseload section, click the Edit link From the Actions bar.

  2. From the Actions bar click New Caseload Group.

  3. Type a name for the group.

  4. Click the checkbox in the left margin for each student to be included in the group.

  5. Click the Accept button.
