Accessing SESIS computer-based training modules

All SESIS users have access to computer-based training (CBT) modules. Individual CBT modules have been created for most processes in SESIS. Users may review all CBT modules for more comprehensive training or individual modules as needed. Users may review the CBT modules as many times as necessary.

To access SESIS computer based training modules

1. From the top navigation bar in SESIS, click Help.
   
   
2. From the pop-up menu, click SESIS Webpage and Computer Based Training Materials.
   
   
3. Log in to the DOE network if you are not already logged in.
   
   
4. Click the SESIS Training Materials link.
   
   
5. Click the SESIS Computer-based Training Modules link.
   
   
6. From the left navigation bar, click the plus () icon to expand the appropriate folder.
   
   
7. Click the plus () icons next to the appropriate folders until you locate the appropriate training module.
   
   Tip: You may search by keyword by typing the word in the search box at the top of the navigation bar. Click the link for the desired training module.
   
   A summary page appears with useful tips about the section.
   
   
8. Determine how you would like to view the CBT module.
   
   
9. Select from below.
   
   

   If...	Do this...
   You want the system-guided option	Click the See It! Button. Press Enter to advance to the next screen.
   You want the user-guided option	Click the Try It! Button. Click the red outlined areas.
   You want the print option	Click the Print It! Button. On the File Download screen, click the Open button. The module appears. Click the drop-down arrow next to the printer () icon. From the drop-down menu, choose Print. The Print dialog box appears. Choose the appropriate printer and click the OK button.
