Accessing special education resources

SESIS provides links to various resource materials, such as independent evaluation resource documents, the Assistive Technology Guidebook, and numerous policies and regulations found on the New York City Department of Education (DOE) Web site.

To access special education resources

1. From the top navigation bar, click Help.
   
   A box appears with a list of available resources.
   
   
2. From the pop-up menu, click the link for the appropriate resource.
   
   Note: The available resources are constantly updated and the list of available resources may vary.
   
   The selected document opens in a new window. The SESIS session remains active in a separate window.
   
   Tip: Use word search to locate a specific section of the document.
   
   Tip: You can print from the newly opened window.
